Self-Care: Suggested Guidance to get the most from your Online Processes
Emotional Breakthrough Journey Processes can result in the release of considerable deep-rooted emotional baggage. These blocks may have been there even for many years.
We can take simple steps before our process to prepare our bodymind, so this process happens as smoothly as possible. Additionally, because the release of emotional baggage from the session can continue for a few hours afterwards, I recommend taking steps afterwards and for the rest of the day, to support your healing process, so it can be as complete as possible.
Before your session
- If you will be eating within a couple of hours before your appointment, I recommend that you eat relatively lightly and avoid any strong stimulants such as nicotine or a strong cup of coffee. Such stimulants and substances, or a heavy meal, can inhibit our ability to access pure emotions which is a key part of the process.
For your session
- You'll need a comfortable seat to sit on (as the process may take up to around 3 hours).
- I suggest ensuring the room you use will be a comfortable temperature for you.
- Adequate technology: A computer/laptop with sound, webcam, broadband connection. Please make sure any device used will be powered (connected if necessary from the start) for the length of the session.
I also recommend you have with you
- Paper/Notebook to possibly write on (equivalent to up to 4 sheets of A4 - blank or lined)
- Pen
- Some tissues in case needed
After your session
- Deep emotional healing results in a great deal of purification activity in the body-mind, so I encourage you to support your healing process by taking care of yourself afterwards. I suggest arranging time for yourself to be able to rest, favouring activities that nurture: perhaps taking some time out to lie down, a gentle short walk etc..
